Global Companies for a Sustainable Development

Further Information

Our activities

Read here to find out more about the services econsense extends to its members.

econsense is the think tank of German business and a platform promoting open dialogue between business, policy makers, science, administration and all stakeholders. The company-based forum therefore provides a framework to strengthen the exchange of experience and ideas on issues of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility, and to expand and enhance competence and expertise.

Events and dialogue with multiplicators

econsense organises numerous events of different kinds to debate relevant sustainable development issues with experts and the general public: Workshops are events for technical experts run by econsense and individual member companies. The Workshops focus on specific issues. The econsense "Sustainability get togethers" in Berlin are organised in rotation by members who invite participants to indulge in an informal exchange of ideas and opinions. Our annual "In dialogue" meeting is aimed at a broad spectrum of multiplicators. The "Good practice live!" press tours give journalists an opportunity of making their own picture on site of our companies' commitment to sustainability issues. The Expert talk-ins bring together member companies for discussions with experts on specific topics. Events and gallery (only German)
