For more than 120 years, Allianz has offered its customers innovative finance solutions that follow one principle: sustainability. The Sustainability Report 2010/11 (see below) communicates how Allianz together with its customers approaches the challenges of sustainable development. Five global topics, including demographical change, digitalisation, climate change, stability of the financial markets and access to finances, provide particular significance not only for Allianz and its 151,000 employees but also for its 76 million customers in 70 countries. The company approaches the challenges associated with these topics through analysis and dialogue, with the goal to provide appropriate financial solutions for the benefit of the entire society.

Forum for Sustainable Development of German Business e.V.

econsense is an association of leading, globally active companies and organisations of German business specializing in the area of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility (CSR). Founded in 2000 on the initiative of the Federation of German Industries (BDI), the goal of econsense is to provide a dialogue platform and think tank, with the dual objectives of advancing sustainable development in business and assuming social responsibility.
