The company’s goal is to leave future generations with a healthy environment as well as stable economic and social conditions. Climate protection is given particular attention. Deutsche Bank is involved on various levels to achieve a CO2-free economy. As a financial intermediary, the bank offers innovative products and procures capital for innovative projects and companies. The company intends to operate its own climate-neutral operational workflows beginning in 2013. In addition, Deutsche Bank does what it can for this issue as a climate ambassador and is involved in sustainable projects.

Forum for Sustainable Development of German Business e.V.

econsense is an association of leading, globally active companies and organisations of German business specializing in the area of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility (CSR). Founded in 2000 on the initiative of the Federation of German Industries (BDI), the goal of econsense is to provide a dialogue platform and think tank, with the dual objectives of advancing sustainable development in business and assuming social responsibility.
