HeidelbergCement AG

Acting sustainably is part of the corporate strategy of HeidelbergCement, one of the largest producers of construction materials in the world. As a company dealing intensively with raw materials, HeidelbergCement sees the foundation for its future development in securing resources and protecting the climate. Other central fields of its sustainability strategy are defined by its core business: work safety, environmental protection and a dialogue built on trust with its location communities.

Sustainable action also demands responsibly dealing with the interests of HeidelbergCement's employees, customers and business partners. It is about minimising the impacts of the business activity on the environment and society and using core competences in such a way that they benefit society while also generating economic opportunities for the company.
